There are two types of data exports:

Backup

By clicking on the "BACKUP" button an export of the data on the sdcard in csv format is carried out in the folder
/Money/backup
4 files will be generated
  • details.AAAAMMGG-HHMMSS.csv
  • accounts.AAAAMMGG-HHMMSS.csv
  • types.AAAAMMGG-HHMMSS.csv
  • payers.AAAAMMGG-HHMMSS.csv
    • whose file names match the type of data present on the db and the backup date. In the screen you can view the progress of the operation and the outcome of each file, including the number of records exported. If the csv encryption has been set, these files will be encrypted with your password used as a key.

    Export

    By clicking on the export button instead, an export of the data on the sdcard in csv format is carried out in the folder
    /Money/export
    4 files will be generated
  • details
  • accounts.csv
  • types.csv
  • payers.csv
    • This means that a subsequent export overwrites the files. Furthermore, the files are not encrypted regardless of the settings.
